Opened by Larry Dallam as Dallam Furniture, the store became Davis Furniture in 1958 under the ownership of Max Stutteville and Louie Kunz in less than 10,000 square feet of showroom space. In 1978 Roger and Cindy Bumps in partnership with Bill and Peggy Bumps, purchased the store. Over the next 29 years, Roger and Cindy tripled the business to its current size of 35,000 square feet and nearly $2.0 million in inventory. Built on a reputation of customer focused service, premium products and a level of community involvement that is well know throughout the Valley, Roger and Cindy felt the time was right to transition the business to new owners who are focused on continued growth and an equal commitment to the community.
