Boldly contemporary design elements inspired by retro forms and expressed in beautiful flat cut white oak in a clear, fumed blacked finish with low sheen. Essence is a true expression of urban style with minimalist hints, and wonderful scale. Primary design elements include external steel frames in a dull, warm gilded finish with slight surface antiquing. The cabinets are suspended by standoffs and seem to float in air inside the external steel frames. All corners are mitered, and the drawers miter fitted into the face of the cabinets for a beautiful, seamless look. The effect of the external frame and mitred case elements is to create a light look, and minimum of solid mass. Storage and display is featured in all pieces, plus selected accommodation for electronics.
